From the Start menu, select Settings, and then Control Panel. Double-click on Add/Remove Programs. Select Windows Setup tab, then Communications option, then Details. Confirm that Dial-Up Networking (DUN) is installed. If not, select it and click OK. You will be prompted to insert your Windows 95 installation disks or CD.
From the Control Panel, double-click on Network icon.
Select Configuration tab. Both Dial-Up Adapter and TCP/IP must be present. If they are, continue to Dial Up Networking. Otherwise, click Add,
then Adapter.
Select Microsoft and choose Dail-Up Adapter. Click OK.
Return to Configuration, select Add, then Protocol.
Select Microsoft, then TCP/IP, then OK.
Return to Network. Both Dial-Up Adaptor and TCP/IP should be present. Click OK. You will then be asked if you want to restart your computer. Select Yes.
